Does anyone know any other games to play with my dog (except catch)? He's already 3 years old. A yorkshire terrier. I always take him without a leash on the front lawn. It seems that he wants to play a game with me. So if you have any other games that you think or you play with your dog please tell me.
Thanks
P.S. oh and please write ASAP (as soon as possible)

You could play hide and go seek, you stand somewhere and call your dog when he/she comes to you, you run away my dog keeps looking for me till he finds me. Tag if your dog folows you. Or you could get a stick and tease your dog with it and when he/she tries to grab it you pull it back, my dog loves that game. You could also play tugh of war at your local petstore they this thick short rope with a not at each and it's meant for two dogs but you could pull at one end and your dog at the other.

My mom's yorkie was a fun dog to be with (her name was Cricket). First, I think I'd take him for a walk. If you've got a pond with ducks, etc. he'd love that, if only to bark at something.

Mom could not make the bed without Cricket getting under the covers. She'd run around and Mom would squeeze her sometimes so she'd run around some more.

Hiding his favorite toy behind your back is a fun game. He sees it, and then he has to find it and get it away from you. Or tuck it under the covers or under the pillow on your bed so he can smell it, but he's got to figure out how to get it.

What about a little frizbee?

Getting down in the grass and wrestling with him, I think they call it "razzing" should be lots of fun.

Remember, the dog always wins in the end. This is important. Lots of praise. Look at you! You got it away from me! Did you find it? You're such a smart doggie.

Have fun.

ASAP: There are many differnt things you can do with your dog! These things might take a while to practice and you will need patiance. You could do Agilaty, obidiance, 4-h clubs, and other stuff. Go to www.google.com and search "fun things to do with your dog." I hope that this helps! Thanks!

very small frisbee, tug of war, tag, fetch, there is catch, hide and seek (if he is bright enough), running sprints, pounce running, chase your tail, staring contest- if he can sit there long enough, jumping up and down (since yorkies are quite bouncy).
