How do you if someone truly loves you and is not just toying around with your feelings?Or is just flirting and has no real interest??

Well if they hang with me for over a year they either love me or are a glutton for punishment.

Love is too broad of a term.
They can love you in one way, like as a friend, and you could easily take it as love as in a serious relationship. People can also love you in such a way that it hurts you emotionally or makes you extremely happy.
Although, when it comes to knowing if someone is just toying around with you, then you'd know. They would always use you emotions to get something out of you or buy something for them.
Love is just very complicated. And usually, you just know.

Yeah you would know if they are toying around. If you think they love you, then you're going to have to find out for yourself.

real love - not just lust - involves no game playing. the person has your best interests at heart and wants to make your life as easy and happy as possible and you, in return, want to do the same.

action speaks louder than words. and only time can tell for sure.
1) if he respects you and stay with you without physical contact, he loves you.
2) he listens to you, and pay attendion to your needs, he loves you.
3) if he never calls because you don't flirt or kiss him, he only looks for fling or sex partner.

I don't think you ever know. You have to just feel it. If you love them to the best of your abilities they will love you. Show them what love is to you. Do little things for them. Maybe they'll do it back. :)

If they are responsive to your needs, thats usually a good sign. If they treat you with the respect you deserve.

well you never really know but you can try sth riski.Set him up with a good-looking friend of your he doesn't know to flirt with him and if she trys sth with her it means he just wants fun.good luck
