What should I do about losing my eyeglasses?

I lost them on Thursday or Friday, & now I can't concentrate or focus because my eye muscles are weak. I can still see, but I need them so I can see better.

I'm afraid you'll have to bite the bullet and replace them, my dear. If you've looked all over and they haven't turned up I call your eye doctor's office and see if by chance, you had a loss protection plan on them, or warranty of any kind. Most times, warranties only cover breakage, but some places offer plans that offer discounts on replacement glasses.

If not, perhaps you could get an inexpensive pair of glasses to hold you over until you can afford a better pair. I'm afraid that unless your glasses were reading glasses, that the drug store cheaters aren't going to help you to see far away.

So, don't wait for your glasses to magically drop into your lap. I've always joked with patients and said that a sure fire way for your lost glasses to reappear is to buy new ones. LOL But then at least you'd have a back-up set if that was the case, which leads me to my next point...ALWAYS HAVE A BACK-UP PAIR OF SPECS - JUST IN CASE!!!!

**Edit** You'd be surprised at what people will steal. .People have been known to steal prescription glasses and take them to their own eye doctor and have their prescription put in them. Sounds crazy, but some people will steal anything that isn't nailed down. Especially if your frames were newer, designer frames, like Versace or D&G...those frames sell for several hundreds of dollars, so YES, they WILL steal them...

Hopefully you can afford to get a new pair. I know they can be costly.

First of all though I would look for them and put up signs. Very few people probably steal eyeglasses since they can't use them. Someone may have turned yours into a lost and found. Check all places you have been and call around to see if you left them anywhere. Did you check your school's lost and found?

lost eyeglasses: you the two will not be able to or won't inspect some component of your existence. looking some money potential some thing occurred the place you felt you won fee, or have been given a reward. looking somebody else's broken glasses, i'm questioning the two you found out somebody else on your existence had that comparable habit or you found out they have been incorrect approximately some thing ... hmmm. attempting to get a shirt repaired yet being skipped over -- ignore with regard to the flaws and concentration on the fundamentals. you're attempting to restoration some thing and you at the instant are not getting the help and/or your efforts are being skipped over. you recognize on the tip that think ofyou've have been given to verify this difficulty, you have have been given to get those glasses and look squarely at what the subject is. average it sounds to me like a marvelous dream!

I think you might need to buy some new ones if you can not find them. I always have a spare pair on hand. It is kind of important to have a spare if you can not function without them.

Sounds like it's time to get another pair made; until then, for reading, there are always "drugstore" glasses, if you need them.

If you cant afford new ones . some drug stores and Walmart Costco etc Have non prescription reading glasses.Ive uised them in a pinch till pay day

if you have the old perscription you can get it filled at walmart, if not go back to the doc and get another one and have it filled at walmart
