I will assume you mean "diet". A "water diet" is dangerous, to say the least. A human needs enough nutrition to survive properly and just having water is plain silly...and dangerous.

The way to loose weight and keep it off is doing it in a smart way; exercise, low fat, high fiber foods and lots of pure water in between meals. That is the ONLY way to loose weight properly and keep it off, which is the key. Most so called diets you can loose some weight and then it comes right back on when you stop the diet. It is a proven fact, diets don't work, smart eating and a healthy lifestyle does.

It is called fasting but most people do not know about it, but are scared of it. Jesus, Moses and Buddha did it. Site below tells how much weight you can lose doing it for different times. It has quotes by 17 MDs and the New England Journal of Medicine telling how it is good for weight loss.

whatever you wish ... but remember two things:

only drink as much water as you feel thirst for, lest you flush out of your
system stored food and its vitamins
... you need that!

second, have one meal at night ... that is considered a 'fast' ... you really need it ..... and allow yourself some icy tea with a sprig of mint or something good so you do not become unhappy... and if you see some strawberries or something like that, have some ..... it will not do you *any* harm ...
