Many health and social care jobs don't accept CV's anyway, and you only need to do one CV and print off more copies when you need to. Do you mean application forms, these you need to keep completing

No not nowadays. You have to have proof you are capable for the job as your CV will list qualifications you may have. Most employers will not employ you unless you have papers.
