i'm a 17 yr old girl in india. i'm slightly overweight as confirmed by the weight scales and bmi and our skool sports teacher. i was overweight ever since i was born & thought i've lost a lot of weight over the years, i'm still overweight, puberty adding to the problem.i know tht exercise is the way out , but the problem is lack of time. i leave for school by 7 am and come back at 4:30 upon which i immediately leave for coaching classes only to return at 8:00 by which time i'm too tired 2 do anything except have dinner, finish homework by 12:00 and sleep. i get only an hour or two of free time on sundays which i use for gardening and occasionally swimming. so the problem is i dont get time to exercise. another problem is that i dont know what sort of exercise will help me git rid of excess weight (which is mainly accumulated around my waist , buttoks and thighs) . my food habits are very healthy. plz help

If you are only slightly overweight and have healthy eating habits, don't do anything drastic to your schedule. It sounds like you aren't getting enough sleep as it is (try to get 8 hours, if possible). Don't skip sleep to get more exercise.

I don't know what type of "coaching classes" you are talking about, but are they worth it? Can you shorten their length, or take a break during the classes and get in a brisk walk? Walking is a great exercise (and the swimming). Try to work in a few brisk walks during the week if there is time. Otherwise, don't worry about the few extra pounds until your schedule load lightens. Keep eating healthy, that is most important.

First of all, there are many busy people so using time as an excuse is not a good one. I worked in a family business putting in 12-16 hour days and still went to the gym after work at least 3-4 days a week before going home.

Second, it's also what you eat, not just exercise. If you are eating fattening foods and not drinking water you will pack on the lbs. Drink 8 glasses of pure water per day, have no sodas or fattening specialty coffees, etc. Eat low fat, high fiber foods; fruits, veggies, lean chicken with no skin, etc. Watch what you put on your food too; no butter or salt or fattening sauces or gravies.

You could exercise before school for a half hour (take a walk or do some exercises to a DVD). Maybe rethink this coaching class, it seems to take up a great deal of your time.

how much over the bmi index are you? part of it may be your body type. i was always at the top end of the scale even when i was very fit due to my body type and the fact that muscle weighs more than fat.

sounds like you are pear shaped. leg lifts and crunchies are good for the stomach. also, if you could manage to walk (running doesnt suit this body type) a little bit each day it would help. even around the block or whatever during your lunch break.

try looking online for exercises for pear shaped bpodies. although you cannot work at losing weight on just one part of the body you can emphasizze some exercises to trim the problem sites.

you wake up everyday at 5am and do at least 30 minutes of cardio excercise. check with your doctor first before you start an excercise plan though, to see if you are healthy enough. but yeah, you want to lose weight and feel great, just wake up a little earlier and excercise. Or it doesn't have to be in the morning, you can excercise whenever you have the time. You say you leave for school at 7am? Yes, then that is perfect, just wake up earlier and excercise. That is what I do. I wake up about 530am every morning and excercise for about an hour and then leave to work at 7am and feel great for the rest of my day. good luck

If you want to loose weight and can not increase the amount of calories you burn, then decrease the number of calories you take in. Your goal is ... calories in < calories burned. Eat vegetables and meat and less bread and fried food. It's a simple equation - but hard to do esp. when you're tired.

Take a jog right when you wake up in the morning. You will learn to love it because it will become part of your life. Just wake up a little earlier.

attempt to get him alongside to an Alcoholics nameless assembly. or you need to attempt Narconon, they help the guy to convey conduct back under administration. i think of AA would be plenty low priced as a typical step although.
