Hey hun,

Skipping breakfast definitely isn't a good idea, it's not great for your metabolism which could see you gain weight when you eat again during the day. (A bit crazy huh?) Eating a decent sized breakfast will give you energy for the day, which will help if you intend to exercise, so if you are going to make a meal smaller, perhaps have a lighter tea?

Fruit in the morning is great but I know I would be starving if I just had fruit, what about toast or cereal and juice just to give you a kick start?

And finally, if you want to lose weight and keep it off, unfortunately skipping meals and cutting down your food intake severely won't do any good. Gradual is the best, moderation of food and exercise till you get a healthy body weight is the way to go.

skipping breakfast is the best way to impede fat loss. by not eating breakfast the body is staying in a catabolic state from the nightly fast until you eat. this is the exact opposite of what is needed to reduce the body fat % and maintain muscle mass. breakfast jump starts the metabolism and the increase in insulin from feeding decreases the levels of catabolic hormones which reduce the rate at which fat is used for energy

eat any less than 800 calories a day and you are anorexic.
don't skip breakfast, make that the major meal of the day, all subsequent meals should diminish in content. Breakfast jump starts your metabolism and fuels your day.

When you feel faint, you are not eating enough. You don't want to keel over.
