I'm 18, and my boyfriend is in the Army. He is going to Iraq soon, and I can tell he wants it. Should I give it to him as a "going away gift'?

I think you should go for it. People are hung up about sex. Just chill out and stop listening to all this love and forever BS. Think for the moment and go for it. It's not like you are going to go crazy if something happens. You'll just do like the rest and move on. So enjoy the moment and live for no regrets!

My girlfriend did that for me when I left for the army and it was beautiful but when I came back after 2 years we had grown apart. Wait until he returns and if you feel the same then it will be the best. Never do it as a going away present. He needs to focus on the job at hand and this may cloud his mind. If he loves you he will understand. I hope he returns and the two of you have a wonderful life together

A going away gift??? Are you crazy?? No way you should absolutely not. That would totally screw things up for the both of you. It only takes one time to get pregnant and then what would YOU do. He's gone and you're by yourself. Wait until he comes back. If you guys really love each other then it can wait.

Seriously-just because he's going to Iraq, doesn't mean that you should give yourself to him. I'm sure he can wait.

I definitely dont think that THAT should be the defining reason you give him your virginity. You could end up regretting it in the end. Are you absolutely positive that this man is the one for you?? Are you SURE he is going to stay faithful without you for an entire year?? I think you should have sex with him WHEN YOU ARE READY....not for a "going away gift."

Hi Emili! You know, every boy in the world wanna do it, always, sorry to say so, but it is true. If you come from Norway as I do, you would already be experienced. Not to make a joke OK. What you do is totally up to you. If you both are deeply in love, I see no wrong in that. If you are 100% sure on you two as a couple, then I would go for it, but if you are in doubt, then I would not. Again, this you know best yourself, in your own heart. Sex should be a beautiful experience you know, and you should both want it equally! No pressure then! If he love you, he will wait you know, but as a guy myself I know what he feels and what he wants., follow your inner feelings. No. You don't need anyone to tell you that. You already know it or you wouldn't have posted the question. Even if he is going to Iraq soon you shouldn't have sex with him "just because". That's not what it is about....

Are you two planing to marry?

If you can say yes to at least two of these then you might consider doing so, but that's up to you.
