www.fillingtheneed.com ... Any suggestions on how I can make the site more usable to the Christian community? Any ideas or comments ? Creating the Front end of a website is not my gift :)

The website gives members the ability to create a Christian web group (single mothers, going through divorce, addictions, etc)

Thanks for the help all and God Bless

First of all, if you want to ensure that people will visit a web site, make the link clickable by including the protocol: http://
That way they don't have to copy and paste the url.

Content aside, if you want a site to do well, you have to concern yourself with the visitor's experience and search engine placement.

The site forces a horizontal scrollbar - not good. Remember, not everyone has a 17" monitor. Test the page in all browsers, and look at it with monitors of different sizes. I use mine to see what my sites look like on crappy monitors, and go to Future Shop to see what they look like on good ones ;-)

The page needs better-developed description and keyword meta tags - there's a tag generator at http://www.scrubtheweb.com - you can also check there to see if your pages are search engine friendly.

These are the ways that you will have to promote your website. Without them, you have built it but they have not come.

You want to spread the weirdness? You want to spead the self-righteous and goofy ideas of church people? I myself disapprove.
