I was fortunate to think my way out of theism at the age of ten.
As for agnosticism, I find the entire concept preposterous. A person either entertains supernatural nonsense, or they dismiss it wholesale. Leaving "open" the possibility for supernatural gods also leaves "open" the possibility for a million other ridiculous concepts, from dowsing & astrology to telekinesis and the tooth fairy.
At some point, the intelligent mind must draw a line and say, "this is plausible, and that is not."
There are unknowns in the universe, and the only rational way to approach them is the same way science has approached every other unknown since we began investigating the natural world. If we allow for the possibility of a "special god exception" simply because a majority of people are frightened and deluded, we only impede the scientific process. Some of us (atheists) are above the delusion.

The GIFT of atheism must come from someone or something. What or who is that supplier of unique gifts? Maybe I should contact it to get my gift? But then you never want to look a gift horse in the mouth. Don't examine it too closely or you might find out you didn't really want it in the first place. Do I need it? Why? What is the useful purpose of atheism? Religion teaches faith and morals. What does atheism teach and for what ultimate purpose?

I am a recovering Athiest, until I realized that satan was blinding my eyes, I did not believe in him nor God that christians were being controled, that the bible was a bunch of stories that it had been tranlated so many times and could do no good for christians and that healing was the abiklity to make yourself healed, but then I got saved, see I almost died trying to heal myself, by my own brain power and almost died trying and couldn't do it. You could say I didn't try hard enough,but God was missing from the equation, the healing won't work without him. Sorry, my friend, but the next time your near death, don't go to the doctor and try to heal yourself by your own miracle/mind and see if it wil happen.
Once I got saved and started reading the bible and was freed from my suicidal thougts and wanted to live, I know that is all in my mind, but its so nice not to have to go to theraphy or take medicine, and the bible suddenly came alive and I even got a rhema, (google it, oh yea of little faith).

I did have Atheism, but I abandoned it for a deeper meaning.
Technically the most logical is Agnosticism (though I am not Agnostic). For Atheist and Theist beliefs in God or no God are not based on fact, so the mind operating on pure logical mind would reject both.

No, atheism is about as presumptive as Christianity. You cannot disprove the existence of a higher power. It is unknowable. Agnoticism is the only right path.

No, as it has both limitation(law) and a dead end.
Pst: the DEAD Sea is now rapidly "vanish"-ing;
And so is the Horeb-bull Mtn told to jump in "it".
How silly(child=ish) to say 'there is no God',
which gives place, existence to God. Selah.
Equally silly is to be a warring X-ian: Partial;
For "there is NO respect of persons with God",
only fool-ish partiality & hypocrisy against God.
Biblical literalism & Human secularism: both dead ends.
It's as disastrous to win a sides war as it is to lose one.
Side Effect to Both Sides: inducted into a hall of shame.
Biblical Reason Given: playing a law vs law blame game.
Being right to make others wrong, makes you wrong also.
It is futile folly to be against God & KofG within you;
For such would be as foolish as being against yourself.
But isn't this what them vs them oppose themselves do?
If any nation, hse, or person is against themselves: Fall !
Fall where? From Grace (higher), to Law Law (on high).
Ppl recovering from highs afterward speak of higher pwr.
The grace(only) of our Lord Jesus-->Christ with you-->all. Amen.

I really appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness of offering me the gift of atheism. Thank you for being so generous in wanting to share your beliefs. I think it is awesome that you stand up for what you believe in. More people, esp. Christians need to do this. Thanks for setting the example. :) However, I am a Born Again Christian so I have already accepted what, in my belief, is a greater gift. Sorry I can't accept yours. :) But, if you ever want to accept mine, then please e- mail me and let me know. Til then, have a great day and thanks for the question. :)

Buddhism isn't your typical version of atheism, and the Dharma is more of a "gift" to me... but whatever works to teach you wisdom, compassion and altruism...

If you want to be an Atheist that's great. But why does it bother you that we don't? I could never say there isn't a God when I know there is.
