I've seen so much hatred amongst the divisions here and it's really fruitless. If you are a person "of the cloth", no matter what your faith, judging others and making assumptions about people you really don't know is not a loving thing to do? So, why are you doing it? In my mind, it makes you "blind" to the truth we are all connected and your judgments do nothing but detract from your intentions. So, if the one leading is "blind", then your followers will be "blind" to? Agree?

Yes, I had a "pastor" tell me he had serious doubts about a true story I had told him. His only reasoning is because of a mistaken label/wording I had used. Pretty silly if you ask me.

Good point on the hatred comment...let's just say I see the absence of love when one who does not know the truth of a story tells another he is lying.

"There is no worse blindness than of that of a person that just *do not* want to see."

I couldn't disagree with you more. Yes, there is much angst amongst the many diversions, but hatred is a strong word I would not use so lightly. There is some hatred, but most of the posts seem to be of opinion and not so much "hate". There is a lot of misguidance, and a lot of "twisting" of the truth, but that is why it's so important for Christians to correct that truth. The Apostle Paul tells us "if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently" (Galatians 6:1a). Paul's instructions are for Christians to help other Christians, but the truth remains the same in that we must share the Word (which BTW is not the same as "forcing it down peoples throat"). The blind, in actuality, are those who do not see the Truth.

Yes, sometimes the Pastor, or Spiritual Teacher is blind & leading the blind.

That is why God gives us the Spirit of Truth when we are born again of Gods Spirit. 1Jn2:27. The Spirit of Truth is the Teacher above our teachers & leads us into all truth & will not lie.

To your last comment. It is true that the devil will falsely accuse you. So, you have to realize who you are in Christ. Even Pastors truly called to the ministry can make mistakes & God will convict this Pastor of this. What you need to realize is that God knows the Truth. So, even if many Christians in the Church believe a lie about you, thank God that God knows the truth. For God knows your heart. I have experienced this also. And I had anxiety roots afraid of what the devil might cause others to think about me. But, the Lord knows the honesty of my heart. So? It doesn't matter if the devil accuses me & others believe. It only matters that I have faith in the God who loves me & has promised to never leave me or forsake me & who knows that when I make mistakes, it is an accident. He loves me anyway. And also knows me more than I know myself.

Remember... There is therefor, now no condemnation, for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of Spirit for those in Christ Jesus, has set you free, from the law of sin & death. There is therefor, now no condemnation, for those who are in Christ Jesus. (A song that comes to mind.)

I do not believe in believing. That has to be
understood first.
Nobody asks me,'Do you believe in the roseflower?"
There is no need. You can see;the roseflower is there
or is it not there.
Only fictions,not facts,have to believed.
Belief is comfortable,convenient;its dull.It is a kind
of drug;it makes you a zombie.A zombie can be
christian,Hindu,Mohammedan-but they are all
zombies, with different labels. And sometimes they get
fed up with one label,so they changethe
label:HinduDont just
becomes a christian,the christian becomes a Hindu-a
new label,a fresh label, but behind the label the same
belief system.

DESTROY YOUR BELIEFS.

Certainly it will be uncomfortable,inconvenient,but
nothing valuable is ever gained without inconvenience.

Hopefully the people making criticisms or judgements of others are not Christian leaders. If so, your comment would most definately be true. We are all, as you say, connected to one another and even though we may disagree on specific doctrine or belief system we are all still human beings.

if I agree will that validate you?

if I disagree will that distract you?

If I condemn you will that make you wrong?

are any of us so perfect that we should be leading.

is there one perfect one that we should follow?

I would rather follow one who is perfect, than lead a million that are not.

choose who you will follow caerfully, but please do not follow me.
