How could this happen?

My most beautiful baby daughter, now grown, breaks my heart and I let her. A complete stranger, treats me with more respect. I lose respect and all dignaty for myself, and I feel her hatred. Later, when I am back in my own element, it's still hard to shake off. I try to forget about it. I know she already has.
