lol. No, its believed to have been a giant asteroid that hit the earth with the strength of 20 atomic bombs. The resulting dust cloud blocked out the sun. Though most scientists are willing to concede that it was probably also several other factors that I don't have the time to go into here.

if im helping you with homework, im not proud. DINOSAUR EXTINCTION Why did dinosaurs become extinct? There have been many ideas to explain why dinosaurs became extinct. At least 55 different theories have been suggested and then thrown out because of problems. For instance, a theory that works for the large animals usually does not explain the extinction of the small animals or sea creatures. Whatever happened to dinosaurs, scientists agree that it must have affected the whole world

I am a Christian, but am about to tell you something I'm pretty sure no Christian has ever told you. The earth is millions of years old, we know this because we have studied the rocks and other evidence around the earth. All Genesis says is that God created the universe in 6 days.
People have studied the Bible and concluded that it adds up to around 6,000 years. However, according to the earth that is not the case. Now there are a few points that I want to make and it may go over your head, so read this more than once if you have to (that is by no means an attack on you, this is just a different concept).
If you add up, correctly, all the ages of people of the Bible and other events in history it documents, you get around 6000 years. However the Bible does not actually say the age of the earth. When you read Genesis there are two points in in it in which the actual age of the earth could be hiding.
1. Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and void (formless: lacking order; void: without contents, empty)..." God created the earth and heavens and then it goes on to talk about when he created light and darkness and then there was evening and morning (the first day). So Christians generally believe that God created the earth, heavens, light and darkness all in the first day. However, if you read it closely, you can surmise that God created only the light and the darkness on the first day. That is indeed possible, and therefore it is entirely possible that the unknown time before the first day is where the age of the earth lies. You see, the Bible doesn't say God created the heavens and the earth on the first day, it just says that he created them. The earth could have floated in space for God knows how long, pardon the pun.
But in my opinion there is a more likely hiding place of the age of the earth, but it is a more difficult concept.
2. Genesis 2:25 - 3:1 "The man and his wife were naked, and they felt no shame. (space between chapter 2 and 3) Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals,..." Now this may seem completely irrelevant to what I am talking about here, but it actually isn't. Chapter 2 talks about when God created Adam and the animals and Eve... Then is goes to chapter 3, which talks about the serpent.
I want this to be as clear as I can make it. Adam was said to have lived 930 years. But lets imagine if Adam and Eve did not sin. What would their lives have been like? They would have lived forever. God knew that they would have sinned, but assuming they didn't... they would have not died, because God said they would not die if they didn't eat from the tree of good and evil. Now that that point is made, lets go to the next part of this.
The end of chapter 2 and beginning of chapter 3, which I quoted, are relevant because there is no telling how many years are in between them. If you read that section carefully, you will see that there could be any amount of time in between them. Adam and Eve could have lived millions of years in the paradise of the garden of Eden. Remember that it was a paradise and temptation to do something bad could have taken millions of years, once they got bored with it. They were also to have lived forever, which is infinity. Infinity is really the absence of time, there is no measure because there is no beginning or end. Time would stand still in a sense. Adam was not meant to age. So they would have not started to age until after they were cast out of Eden.
So there are two spots that could hold the millions of years.
Also remember people, according to both sides, have only been around for a few thousand years. So that is an interesting point to make.
Now about Noah, if I am correct about the millions of years then there very well could be dinosaurs with humans. However they did go extinct some time ago, just as many other creatures have done, either recently or a long time ago. It's just a natural part of nature, we have found, for animals to go extinct. Dinosaurs could have gone extinct any sort of way you could possibly imagine. The flood definitely killed all the dinosaurs not on the ark. But there were dinosaurs on the ark because dinosaurs were animals and God brought every animal to the ark. However they were very large creatures so they could have either been gathered as eggs or as babies. Whether they survived or not after the flood was entirely up to nature. Scientists do say that dinosaurs died from the meteor, but others say other things (like atmosphere change, starvation...), so we don't know how they died.
I don't know if this answered your question or was the answer you wanted, but I gave it my best shot. I just want it to be known that the Bible is not vague on these sort of subjects because the people that made up God didn't know. It is because God knew that it was irrelevant to your salvation and that you knowing the secrets of the universe has no bearing on eternal life and your relationship with Christ. It is fine to discover, wonder, and seek answers, but to take God out of the equation is not. God bless.

God put Adam in a special part of creation
Genesis 2:8
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
Death existed before Adam and Eve left the garden.
Genesis 2:21
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
The garden had limits it didn't cover the whole of the Earth
Genesis 3:24
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Outside the Garden Lucifer was the ruler of the Earth
Isaiah 14:12
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
How long were Adam and Eve in the Garden.. That is not known. But it must have been some time. A lot of violence and death occurred in the parts or the earth Satan ruled.. This was all part of God's plan to make the world a place where mankind could live and flourish.... Jim

Try this out if you are still confused. In the first creation myth of Genesis 1, when the word 'day' comes up, substitute it for 'age' instead. Day does not refer to a 24 hour period. If yuo do this you will discover that many animals roamed the earth before the final act of creation in the sixth age of the earth, Man. Therefore evolution and creatioinism can co-exist as the dinosaurs died out many millenia before Man appeared on the scene.
As for why they died out, the most popular belief is that an asteroid struck the earth throwing up debris into the atmosphere. The debris then had the effect of blicking out the sun, leading to a prolonged Ice Age. Geological records back up this theory.

Really, though all species become extinct. It's a natural process, only if because the genome accumulates enough nucleobase transcriptions errors over time. Species of dinosaurs continually evolved and became extinct over 160+ million years. It was only the dinosaurs living at the end of the Cretaceous that became extinct due to the consequences of the Chixlbub asteroid impact 65 million years ago.

Dinosaurs became extinct because they lacked a belief in God. Those dinosaurs keep asking questions like, " Which God ". Do we really need T- Rex's and dinosaurs running around today, scary for sure.
No, Noah and the dinosaurs did not exist on this planet at the same time.
Have a pleasant day.

Not all of them did, crocodiles, alligators, elephants, giraffes etc were lucky enough to escape the holocaust caused by a massive explosion caused by either a missile striking the earth or volcanic action.
Dinosaurs still exist even tho` DINOSAUR means terrible lizard, it covers those mentioned.

I was going to suggest that T Rex was killed in an auto accident, but you'd only tell me you can't find mention of a car crash in the Bible...
