People in those days went to the tiolet in the water, then retrieved buckets of water to drink or cook with. This was a new idea in sanitary practice.
the nations around them didn't do it and fell victum to all sorts of diseases.
(Deuteronomy 23:12-13) 12 And a private place should be at your service outside the camp, and you must go out there. 13 And a peg should be at your service along with your implements, and it must occur that when you squat outside, you must also dig a hole with it and turn and cover your excrement.
(Isaiah 40:22) 22 There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth, the dwellers in which are as grasshoppers, the One who is stretching out the heavens just as a fine gauze, who spreads them out like a tent in which to dwell,
Not only did they believe that the earth was flat but knew nothing about apmosphere, which we know now how this apmosphere protects us like a bubble.
(Job 26:7) 7 He is stretching out the north over the empty place, Hanging the earth upon nothing;
They had all kinds of stories about what the earth was riding on from elephants to Charles Atless, to turtles backs.

we don't comprehend. There hasn't been a conclusive try indicating a God of a few type exists, consequently, we've not a reason to believe the Bible became into his/her/that's written word. Does this advise there isn't a God obtainable? No. There would desire to o.k. be some thing obtainable. although, we've not got conclusive archives indicating that a God of a few type certainly spoke to a tribe in historical Israel or perhaps intervened, for that remember. one that makes use of the texts/scriptures and references to genuine places in the Bible as evidence are basically capturing themselves in the foot, as by potential of doing so, they place themselves in the comparable footing as a believer of the Iliad, the Odyssey, Nahuatl Codex, and Superhero comedian books(particularly ask your self, as they choose to hire genuine existence places into their heroes memories). the only component the Bible can rather point out to us in the present day in keeping with modern-day scriptures, is the custom, values, ideals, and a few achievable history jumbled jointly with tall-memories have been recorded and advised by way of the classic paintings of tale telling. Who is acquainted with how badly the translations have been mangled over the years. the component is we've not got evidence indicating that's presence, so that's stupid to come lower back in the process a secret and fill in the hollow with "God did it." that's intellectually cheating, and it deters interest between transforming into minds indoctrinated with those ideals as being literal. If a scientist, archeologist, biologist, geneticist, or cosmologist has conclusive and empirical archives indicating the presence or evidence of a God or god-like entity obtainable, than information would be made international, naysayers will hush, and that god would have prepared believers-in-waiting. in any different case, people pushing the lie could be elementary with themselves and develop up.

What fascinates me is that some christian answer like this:
You just believe because it's your faith, it doesn't have to be understandable or LOGICAL
and some answer like this:
The prophecies came real! There are testimonies! Ok, 2000 years old, but still we got them! Can your Darwin buddy say the same uh? so believing is the only LOGICAL thing to do.
I mean, come on? A zombie saviour?
I'm not against the idea of religion itself: it is useful to keep stupid people happy. But at least we should create a new religion, more in touch with the time.
What about "the super churchof superman?
We could use his comics and movies as holy texts. Nothing says salvation as a man saving the world!

The best way to hear God is to silence the mind. Those who have suceeded not only hear God, they live God every moment. These are the spiritual masters - so called enlightened beings. God speaks to us through them. Of course there are many false masters around so finding a real one to follow may not be easy. Ther best way is still to follow your heart but first you have to remove all previous beliefs/preudices so that they do not cloud your judgement. The door does indeed open to those who knock with a sincere and innocent heart.
The problem with the teachings from the masters is that they get interpreted and taught by people who are not spiritually advanced. Hence the apparent differences in the teachings reflect the differences in understanding and interpretation. Can you try to describe the taste of mango to someone who have never tasted one before? How difficult! When one attempts to describe spiritual knowledge in human terms the problem is magnified many times. Different masters are talking about the same thing when different terms are used - heaven, nirvana, self-realization, liberation, etc. We are trying to understand the infinite with something finite - our minds. This is a fruitless endeavour. Our minds is the obstacle. Our beliefs prevent the truth from being experienced. One of the spiritual teachings is that what you think you become (or experience). Even if you follow a false master it does not matter. Your experience will tell you whether and when to change direction.
Remember, if you belief in a loving and perfect God, then His plans for you will be perfect. All will eventually return to Him. We only take different paths.

Hinduism is the oldest major religion in existence.
I don't believe the Bible is the word of any God, as I've studied religious history, and how both the OT and NT came into existence.
Not exactly needed though, a thourough reading can easily show that the book was written to reflect the times in which it was written, by men, which explains why women are viewed as less than men, and things we would cringe at today are viewed as normall.

For those who would say the Bible is not the Word of God, or that the Bible contains numerous errors I would say this: Paul could say in 2nd Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God." That's the Greek word, "theopneustos" meaning "God-Breathed." Every single word was given from God to 40 different men, and 2nd Peter 1:21 adds: "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." Now that was the Old Testament. The New Testament wasn't in existence when Paul used these verses. He was telling the churches in his letters what had happened in the past, but in John 16:12-13, Jesus talked about the coming of the New Testament. He says, "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come."
That's the New Testamant. And we can say with John 17:17, "Your Word is Truth." Today, we have 66 books written by 40 different individuals on 3 continents covering a period of 1,500 years and there's not one mistake, regardless of what some of the critics say. They haven't studied God's Word enough to know the truth. Among the writers we had kings, poets, philosophers, prophets, scholars and fisherman. And I want you to know we have all of the Word of God today. Someone says, "Yes, but we don't have the original manuscripts" Who said so?
We have copies totalling 24,800. Now, how do we know that they're right? Well, if you take 20 items and you compare them and 19 state one thing and one doesn't, then the one is in error. We've got 24,800 manuscripts that exist today to compare one against another and we have another 80,000 quotations from the church fathers, enough to put the entire Bible together with the exception of 11 verses. Take the 80,000 quotations from the church fathers and the 24,800 manuscripts for a total of 104,800 and you have all of God's Word dozens and hundreds of times. This is so because God's Word is literally flawless. After computers have compared millions, or even billions, of letters in analyzing the 104,800 manuscripts the texts are basically flawless. So, don't listen to the critics.

I do not believe in believing. That has to be
understood first.
Nobody asks me,'Do you believe in the roseflower?"
There is no need. You can see;the roseflower is there
or is it not there.
Only fictions,not facts,have to believed.
Belief is comfortable,convenient;its dull.It is a kind
of drug;it makes you a zombie.A zombie can be
christian,Hindu,Mohammedan-but they are all
zombies, with different labels. And sometimes they get
fed up with one label,so they changethe
label:HinduDont just
becomes a christian,the christian becomes a Hindu-a
new label,a fresh label, but behind the label the same
belief system.
DESTROY YOUR BELIEFS.
Certainly it will be uncomfortable,inconvenient,but
nothing valuable is ever gained without inconvenience.

The Old testament Prophets made numerous prophecies for the future like Daniel, Jeremiah, etc which came true. Thus, the Bible is the Word of GOD. Mohammad is a Prophet among the Muslim and in the BOOK OF HADITH, Mohammad prophesied that the LORD JESUS CHRIST will come again to teach Islam which means submission to GOD. The Koran is with the characters of Moses, Virgin Mary, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE HOLY SPIRIT, King David, Abraham thus, Koran is not really different from the Bible. Buddha is the Prophet among the enlightened peoples. THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.
