Um, is agnostic close enough ? I have trouble with absolutes, but absolution actually does make me feel better. Go figure.

I did it, and I've stayed that way for the last 30 years.
The real question is, having put aside your delusional beliefs in an imaginary friend, would you notice any change in your life? If the experimenter was being true to themselves and rational about it the answer has to be either no difference at all, or an improvement as they free themselves from the thralldom of delusion.

I've always been an atheist. God has never been in my heart. It's a great way to live.

Stop doing that, a true Atheist should not preach !
How can I ask God to leave my heart if he is a part of me and I am a part of himself? He created me, and he put his spirit of life in me, so asking him to leave me and asking him to kill me is the same thing.
I would never ask him to leave me, I would ask him to keep changing me. Until I am perfect, wise, and without sin or imperfection.

It never will happen, nor would I want to, or want Him to.
I have to be true to myself and to God. If I could, I would feel empty, like something was missing in my life. Been there, don't want to go there again, thank you.
This is like asking someone to leave their spouse or best friend. Love is not something you can simply cast aside.

No and I never want 2!!!God doesn`t do what you tell him 2 do he does what he tells himself to do....life without God would be scary and just plain dumb.....
