I paid $368.54 for enrolment and six months installment when later on I discovered that their email address is no longer accessible. It was paid by convenience check.

Contact your state attorney general's office or your local consumer protection agency. Every county, city, and state has a consumer protection agency. It's going to take effect, but eventually you will get your money back.

Did you sign a contract? Was there anything that said something along the lines of payment being acceptance of their terms?

I suspect that a business of this size and nature knows that many of its enrollees will not complete its coursework. I would guess that they've got a legally binding agreement that lets them keep tuition once paid--just like most colleges and universities do.

First thing to do is reread any contract or agreement, and proceed from there.
