I told this guy he sucks and he is still not angry at me!?

Question

This guy he knows I am in love with him but he clammed up on me. He often tells me he can never get angry at me and one time whenIi got angry at him because he won't answer me so II told him he sucks and he still isn't angry ( I apoligized later) but why can't he get angry at me? He doesn't have much time because he is doing his military service. He is not under the American system we are both in Asia. I can't understand whatever I do he never gets angry at me is this strange?

Maybe he doesn't even know what sucks mean lol!

why are you trying to "make him angry" with you? that seems like some sort of immature game your playing. i am glad he is more mature and isn't playing along with you.

Ok, I understand more now. Anger leads to quick short temper actions which lead from making any good reactions to things. You need to be able to handle a problem clearly. He must be trained to think first so he won't get angry. some guys might be like that. but how long he can stay like that who knows. once is isn't in the military he might change. What ever the reason maybe he may not be angry so don't try it.

Hey my b.f. never gets angry at me. We have been together only 1.5 years, but well..there have been many times when I have had 'issues' with somebody else or with some decision I can't seem to make, but no matter how irritated or sullen I get my man will just stick by me and calm me down. He will never get annoyed by me, or by anybody. Some people are just really calm and composed people. Since he is a lawyer, my theory is my man is just so used to suspense in the courtroom and irrational behaviour of various characters that he now knows getting angry doesn't help in most situations.

Not really,

He realizes that hurtful words are normally said out of either immaturity, unconrtrolled emotions, personal anger issues, misunderstandings and poor abilities to rationalize thinking.

Taking into consideration, that life is too short, to waste precious energy, upsetting the balance of your body's system and allowing someone elses lack of maturity to get the best of you or ruin your day.

After all words are just that, meaningless words that are all to often over used to lash out at that person, in order to wound the spirit and heart of and individual. An mental attack if you will, hoping to get a physcial reaction.

Having a strong mind and full control over what you allow to enter in and push away makes a difference.

He may have been hurt, but didn't allow himself to be overwhelmed by it to the point of anger.

Try it sometime....next time somebody says something hurtful or rude, even though it hurt, focus on just how immature they really are and move on without allowing those anger emotions to rear it's ugly head and giving them what they want by having a reaction.

Sometimes when somebody loves another and there is more than one kind of love. Words may hurt, but the love for that person helps, it to keep anger emotions in check so as not to hurt the one that they love.

Two possibilities present themselves. It could be that you just don't affect him emotionally on any level, so he doesn't respond to your taunts with anger or any other "typical" reaction. (While this IS possible, it's unlikely because most people don't choose to spend much time at all with people they're totally indifferent to). The second possibility is that he sees through you and really likes what he sees, even when you're trying to goad him into "reacting". This means that he is secure, emotionally centered, reasonably self-assured, and not easily manipulated. It also means that he has genuine affection for you and he sees the "real" you (and likes it). That's a very fortunate thing to have from another person; we don't all get that. Don't underestimate it or take it for granted.

Lots of people say they could never get angry at others, it's because at the time they say it, they can't imagine every getting angry.

However in any relationship you can get angry at others, if it was meant to be he will get over it in time. You have done what you can to repair it. It's up to him to deal with his anger now.

If he can't get over it then move on.

He probably loves loves u too much to get angry at u. For instance, i could never be angry at my girlfriend cuz i luv her too much. Even if she broke up with me i stll couldn't be angry at her. He may really love u or is really, really scared of losing u.
