I have straight hair in the front, but wavy hair in the back (weird) I don't know how to get rid of it besides straightening it every day. But i don't want to damage my hair, too. Any Ideas!?

Have it relaxed!

Salons will relax it for you, or you can go for relaxing shampoo's and conditioners and serums to help loosen the curls. Having it chamically relaxed in a salon is the best option as its long lasting and the effects are better, it would be more straiter than you would get with relaxing shampoo's and conditioners.

If you would go for the option of shampoo's, conditioners, serums then Sunsilk produce one, easily obtainable.

Good Luck on whatever you do! :D

Same problem with me! Some parts are wavy and some our straight >.<, I usually straighten it, but I use this before spray that protects your hair against heat. It works because my hair isn`t damaged & it is actually very soft.

Sometimes I also scrunch it when I don`t feel like straightening. If you don`t have the right scrunching stuff you can always just squeeze it when its wet all over giving it a sort of wavy/curly look. Mine stays that way & when it dries its wavy all over, but if yours doesn`t then you can use hair spray...[This makes it look kind of wet & I would use good conditioner if you are going to use hairspray because it might dry out your hair.]

Putting your hair up also helps. I like cinderella buns or high pony tails. I think they look good. If you put your hair up when its wet it might dry differently & get rid of the wavyness. I`ve noticed it does this with my hair so if I really don`t have time, I`ll just sleep with it in a messy bun or something because it comes out full & its also the same all around, ethier wavy or kind of straight.

There is this stuff too that you can put in your hair after showering. Then once you blow dry it your hair becomes straight. I have no clue what it is called, but my friend uses it & it works pretty well. Something definately to try if you blow dry your hair a lot. I`d ask in hair stores or walmarts/targets or whatever about it.

Good luck! Hope you find away to cure your hair troubles =).

The same thing happened to my hair after I had my daughter. I call it my "george washington hair" because it looks so crazy. I just use straightening balm (I use Kiehl's, but there are others out there) and blow dry with a big round brush. I use my flat iron sometimes, but usually the round brush will do the trick. If you protect your hair while using the flat iron, it shouldn't get too damaged. It's really expensive, but try a Kerastase (L'oreal's high end brand) protector. It's like 30-something dollars for a small bottle, but it is TOTALLY worth it! It also lasts a long time because you only use a few drops per day. Your hair will be so shiny and soft, you would never know you flat ironed it daily.

Now, I'm not a hair expert here but I think you should go to the hair salon. I'm pretty sure they can do something that keeps your hair staight for a long time. I think it's a perm that keeps hair straight for a while.
