NO!!!!! get yourself a good oil based primer like bins and seal it, wait a day and seal it again using a varnish or urethane, My son bought a house and after ripping out the carpet the whole floor had urine stains, much cheaper this way. Good luck Les the painter. Any good paint store (not the big box stores) will have a chemical you can also put down for urine smell. BUT MAKE SURE YOU SEAL IT> you'll thank me on those hot humid days

The easiest way is to get a sprayer with bleach in it and spray all the exposed plywood, repeat one time. After it drys then roll on either Kilz or Benz. 2 coats if needed. This will get rid of and seal the plywood. If you want to replace the floor then just follow the existing floor that is down by the sections. Remove a section and replace it. Make sure to use screws instead of nails when securing the floor this will stop all the noise after a few years. Good luck

Kilz it! We found this years ago in a house we flipped. We asked the carpet installer what to do about the abundance of urine on the wood and he explained that it will seal the stench! SO, we just used kilz. Wait 24-48 hours and then install carpet or whatever flooring you are using,
Good Luck !

what are you going to be putting back over the plywood? if going to put laminate over it or new carpet I would try bleaching it then maybe sanding some.....this is unless the plywood has become rotten then of course it would have to be replaced. So clean it with comet, then bleach it out, sand some and cover after new.

A couple of people answered and they are right. There is an oil-based primer called "Kills (original)" It will seal out both the stain as well as the smell. As long as the wood does not have any soft spots indicating rot or mold, the primer fix would be your best bet.

I sure wouldn't replace it. They have things today to cover the smell if it is smelling. I think it is call KILZ . You can find it in all size containers. Rather expensive but worth the dollar if there is a smell problem.
If it ain't smelling don't worry about it just find out who peed there and beat em for a while.

try using 1/2 cup of cider vinegar in 1 gallon of warm water. use a soft cloth or sponge and scrub the area. dry with a dry soft cloth. if it doesn't help you may need to replace boards.
