My dog Hunter is whining nonstop.Do you think it is because he just left his old family yesterday and came to us yesterday?

This is normal. He is missing his mom and littermates. Just comfort the poor little guy. He will be fine in a week or so.

He could be mourning the loss of his family, hounds are big sucks. I have a foxhound who is a pussy. Or, I doubt this is the case, he could be in pain. But I bet he is just bummed out. Spend a lot of time with him, play, walks, snuggles. He should be fine. I foster the occasional dog and I see a lot of separation anxiety. mastiffs360.com

yes, he misses his old family, keep him busy w/
toys, if it's nice out take him for a walk or to the park if you have a near by park in time he will get use to you & he won't whine anymore

PS they are SO cute

Yes, Just wait till he starts talking! Can you not show him attention and get him to stop?

Aw, how cute.

Just let him whine himself out. Eventually he'll stop. No problem.
