if you're a citizen, yes she can get a K1 visa just after you file one for her which will take from 3months to year maybe, Im not sure but maybe its possible that during this period she stays in the us via a student/work visa...if you're a green card holder it'll take longer maybe up to 4years for you two to reunite.

The cost will be the same, or higher, if you do it that way. To answer your question, yes, it's possible. She will not be a citizen, she'll be eligible to apply for a Green Card.

Unless she's here, now, you're going to discover that it's next to impossible for a woman of marriageable age, from the Philippines, to get a US tourist visa.

no she will not automatically become a legal citizen but she will jump towards the front of the line as it were. she still will have to meet all the requirements of citizenship and some additional requirements are in place when you get married as to protect against scams. You need to apply for a spousal visa pending the citizenship visa, now if you have a child they are automatically a u s citizen.

Yak Man is correct. I would only add that, although it appears that the cost is less, in fact all the same fees will have to be paid - either before she arrives or after you and she apply for a green card. You won't save any money, but you will waste a lot of time and experience a lot of anxiety and fear, if you try to bring her to the US as a tourist when in fact she intends to stay.

NO, and if you have a child they will not automatically be a citizen, your child will but not your spouse.
You still have to file the forms, about $2500 now and go through all the channels. After 3 years you will have to go back and show you are still married then she can apply for her citizenship.
I am currently going throught the process and it's a headache.

First of all you must be a legal citizen or permanent resident yourself. Now because of new immigration laws people entering the country illegally my have to return to their country of origin to complete the process. But since she does have a visa marrying her can provide her with legal status and a temporary work only social security number. The application is long and costly, up to $2000. You must appear in a local Federal building and go through interrogations to verify that the marriage is valid. If validated she will receive a permanent resident status. She must be a permanent resident for 5 years before applying for US citizenship.

Marriage to an American never conveys citizenship on the foreigner. However, your children will be citizens.

first of all, have her checked for asian v.d. Some of those diseases aren't treatable here. Over there sex is a thing people are supposed to do age 14 and up, and marriage makes no difference. They over centuries, have developed immunity to most of these diseases, but when a caucasion tries it with one of them - BOOM
