Most of the people dieing from agent orange are the veterans that were exposed to it. We didn't go around gassing entire villages in the middle of the night.

Nothing "ironic" about it, if you had spent 5 mins researching before rushing to post, then you would not look so stupid for asking the question.
The American Military were totally unaware that the chemical "Agent Orange" was dangerous to humans in the short or long term, part of the initiation ceremony of the units who did the spraying, from the backs of trucks, helicopters and airplanes involved the new guy drinking a whiskey glass of the stuff, sure made him puke but if the danger was known do you think they would have exposed so many of their own men to the stuff?
Iraqi's Chemical Ali's troops were all wearing decontamination suits in case of accidental spills while loading and firing the chemical shells into the Kurdish villages, the stuff they were using was killing civilians nearly instantaneously.
If the Americans would have wanted to do the same thing in Vietnam they would have used the same technology as they had enough of the stuff stockpiled, insted of using weed-killers.
The idea of Agent Orange was to defoliate the jungle therefore denying the VC and NVA a place to hide or launch an ambush from, it was never designed to be an offensive weapon.

Agent Orange is a defoliant, designed to kill vegetation.
Sarin Gas is a nerve agent, designed to kill humans.
True, the US didn't know to long term affects of Agent Orange at the time, but very very few have died from it. Agent Orange, to those who long term and intense exposure typically have lung capacity issues similar to asthma.
Chemical Ali, Saddam Hussian, and his officers gassed and killed 180,000 civilians in the mid 1990's with sarin and mustard gas.
I don't see how these events are similar.

nope not at all.
here is why.
1)The long term effects of Agent orange were not known then. unlike Ali's weapons.
2) Agent Orange is a defoliant, it is not a weapon specifically used to kill people. Unlike Ali's weapons
3) By clearing trees and plant life the USA saved more lives by being able to track enemy movements. Unlike ali's weapons.
4) Civilians were not the target of Agent orange. unlike Ali's weapons.
Hate all you want facts beat your rhetoric any day.

You don't seem to have a clue. Agent orange wasn't used to kill anyone, that was a bad side effect. They were trying to clear the forest so that they could fight.
Chemical Ali went around killing villages and innocent people.

Agent Orange was a herbicide used to kill massive vegetation. It was not a chemical weapon. It was discovered after extensive use that it was a carcinogen and could cause cancer.
