"The world is so exquisite, with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there's little good evidence. Far better, it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look Death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides." -Carl Sagan

This is normal.
Remember that Jesus tells us not to fear and that He will neither leave us not forsake us.
He died so that we could live and through His wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
For courage try Philippians 1:20-21, Joshua 1:9, Proverbs 28:1, Psalm 18:31-32, Psalm 28:7, Ephesians 6:10-11 or Philippians 4:13.
For fear try Deuteronomy 31:8, Psalm 27:1, Psalm 56:3-4, John 14:27, Isaiah 12:2, Psalm 46:1-3, Proverbs 3:25-26 or Isaiah 41:10.
For Healing try Psalm 103:2-3, Isaiah 53:4-5 Matthew 4:24, James 5:14-15, Exodus 23:25, Matthew 8:16-17, 1 Peter 2:24, Psalm 107:20-21 or 3 John 2
For Hope Try Philippians 1:6, Psalm 33:18-22, Psalm 42:5-6, Psalm 119:114, Psalm 130:5, Proverbs 24:14, Psalm 62:5-6, 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 or Romans 15:13.
For Loneliness try Matthew 28:20b, Psalm 139:7-10, Romans 8:35, Hebrews 13:5, Psalm 68:5-6, Deuteronomy 33:27 or Psalm 139:17-18.
For peace try Numbers 6:24-26, Isaiah 26:3-4, Psalm 85:8, Psalm 29:11, Isaiah 9:6, Isaiah 53:5 or Philippians 4:6-7.
For Strength try Exodus 15:2, 2 Samuel 22:32-33, 1 Chronicles 16:26-27, Psalm 18:1-2, Psalm 18:32-33, Isaiah 40:29-31 or Philippians 4:13.
And DON'T worry!!! Psalm 55:22, Matthew 6:25-27, Philippians 4:6-7, Psalm 62:1, Psalm 91:1-2, Psalm 37:5 and 1 Peter 5:7.
PS would you mind emailing me with the outcome of your surgery (you don't have to tell me any more details than your comfortable with but I would like to know how successful it is, Thank you)?

Girl, surgery is scary, so I don't blame you for not being able to concentrate on anything else!!!
Just lift it all up to God. Take a look at the life He's given you. Do you have family and friends, clothes on your back, food in your stomach, and a roof over your head? Whatever physical problem you're having fixed could have gone unnoticed and - inevitably - gotten worse. Just praise Him for giving some people the gift of medicine and healing, and ask Him to not only be with you, but also them, while in the operating room.
I've had surgery before, and the worst part is the anesthesia (spelling?) Once you get past that, all you have to do is wake up and start healing (which can also suck, but I know you can do it). You'll be fine, and I'll be praying for you! Good luck!

ALAH hears & knows everything even before it happens.
And ALAH is so mercyfull with us.
But u should be praying to the real only ONE GOD,u should be asking only him,not any human or even prophet like Jesus(ISA)PUH..
Ask only ALAH or GOD ,and be sure that GOD is & was never a human ,he is the creator of all of us including Jesus, and GOD have no family,he is one & only one and everybody else r only his creatures including Prophets,Angels,Devils & Humans.
I dont care what ur religion name is as long as u pray to the right GOD
so plz, when u ask, ask the right GOD.
I ask ALAH for u to get over the sugery and be in ur best health (in shaa ALAH)
And we'll be waiting for a posting from u after the surgery so we know u r ok :)

Chill out.
If you are a Christian, then no need to worry.
About the power of prayer, who are you praying to?
Pray to Jesus to calm your mind. Things will be OK. The arms of Jesus will be around you.
I have gone under a few times, and have been scared to never see the faces I love again, and of the so many things left undone.
I commend my soul to Christ.
I woke up every time:)
Just remember the song 'Don't Worry, Be Happy', you will go to sleep laughing.....:)
May the peace that passes all understanding rule in your heart today. God Bless you

Prayer is one of our greatest privileges as God's children, and even if God doesn't seem to answer your prayers at first, don't stop praying. God loves you, and no prayer goes unanswered.
Jesus once told a story about a poor widow who repeatedly asked a corrupt judge to do what was right. (You can read it in Luke 18:1-8.) Repeatedly the judge refused—not because her request was wrong, but because he just didn't care. But because of her persistence, he eventually gave in and granted her what she deserved. In a far greater way, Jesus said, God (who is righteous and does care for us) hears the prayers of His people, and we must never give up.
But let me add two things. First, realize that sometimes God is actually answering our prayers when we don't realize it—and the reason is because His answer may be "No" or "Wait." Yes, we think we know what's best for us—but God sees the whole picture, and sometimes He lovingly refuses to give us what we request, because He knows it isn't according to His perfect plan.
Second, remember that we have the privilege of coming to God only because Jesus Christ died for our sins. Have you given your life to Him? If not, let your first prayer be one of confession and faith, asking Him to come into your life as your Lord and Savior.

Hi, each day has its own danger. We could have accidents, illnesses etc and never see the rest of the day. The Lord who has kept you from all this till now will keep you the rest of your life and after.
But remember that even your very hair is numbered before God and God cares for you. What more re-assurance you would need. I think you should start praising and thanking God for He is faithful and He will never leave you nor forsake you. May the Lord give you courage. Acknowledge Him in all your ways. God bless.

Here is the Fathers Love Letter to encourage you. Print it out & read it often.
http://www.fathersloveletter.com/flltextenglish.html
Here's some verses for you to memorize & quote them out loud when fear comes. Also keep rebuking fear(the devil) and he shall flee. You have to know that you are a precious child to the King of Kings. Ask the Lord to give you PEACE beyond understanding and have Faith in our God.
Psalm 103:1-5
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
2Timothy 1:7
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Numbers 6:24-26
24 “The LORD bless you and keep you;
25 The LORD make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”’

first thing you need is to change your perception of things!
You are a Soul having a human experience (not other way around). It is only the physical form that dies the soul lives on to continue it's path of learning for enlightenment.
Second there is something called the "Lost Mode of Prayer".
It's based the metaphysical/scientific/hyptnosis principal that our thoughts create our reality. So if you think something then it becomes real. Thus: Think in the posative = see you healed of your physical ills and waking in glowing good health.
Before you go into surgery say the posative "Thank you for
this opportunity and for making me healthy." think it as done
not going to be or asking........know it is because you want it!
Blessings of Light be with you.

You are only human, This is natural to be afraid, My daughter just had the same surgery done this past Monday June 18, & My step-daughter is going to have it done on June 26, Always remember, they will only give you enough to put you to sleep, Many don't know that once you are asleep they put in a breathing tube to make sure you don't stop breathing, I have had a few minor surgery & I am still alive. Faith in God is not seeing nor feeling God, many times it is just to trust God at his word, You will never go before your time.
