Are parrotlets as vocal in sound (high pitched tone) as quaker parrots? Can they talk as well?

I have 2 quakers, and also a sunday conure. A few months ago I had a friend that had some parrotlet babies and needed help hand feeding. I took two of them home. They are very sweet and nowhere near as noisy as the other three birds!! My friend days they can talk ( I guess it just depends an how much time you spend with him, talking to him). She says since they are not as vocal as a quaker- you have to really listen!

NO, they are kinda quiet compared to the Quakers....I have two males that do talk..
the females don't seem to talk at all...
