So I recently won a very large sum of money in the lottery, I haven't told anyone, I was sitting outside a BMW dealership with the intent of buying a new car, but I began panicking that I will do what seemingly every other lottery winner has done. (Go crazy and get killed...) I feel even worse, because this is what you dream of, and now I'm hating it, either way I'm going to freakin regret it! What should I do, give it all away, just try and play it cool? I know that I have a good family and stuff, but I don't want to see what this could do to them...

Put the money in the bank or somewhere safe and take a trip for a couple of days to get your head straight without telling anyone about it.
The minute people find out you have money, they start sucking on you like leaches, even people you don't know. All your long lost relatives will magically appear wanting to "catch up".
Make a list of all important things that you may have to do. Then a list of who might benefit from your helping them. Please don't throw all your money away without making sure you have secured some if it. You never know what tomorrow will bring. Find some way to invest...like buy an apt, house or land. Good luck

Tell your family, buy a few things that will make you life better for the moment, and invest the money or open your own bussines. (ask advice to proffessional don't do it by yourself), try to live the same life you did till now, just get rid of all the financial difficulties that you had, and remember always that you are the same person that you were before. Don't buy expensive things since the begginig, enjoy your money but don't behave like it's going to be no tomorrow. Help people that you don't know, like give some money to the church or whereever you think that they need them. (like single 16-17 year old girls left alone by boyfriends when they got pregnant etc) Wish you all the best and if it's true that you won the lottery, never change because you sound a very good person. Try to keep your winnings a secret as much as possible.
Hire a lawyer to advise you. Try to have your winnings to be awarded in payments.. (One Lump sum will make it too tempting to blow if on items and people that you care very little about.)
If you want to give some away, make a list of people important to you and the amounts you would like to give. Be aware of family coming out of the woodwork. If a person was not there for you before your winnings, give them nothing, because they will try to use you now.
If you want to give to a charity. Find one tat supports a cause that you believe in and research if to make sure that donations actually go to that cause and not the over head.

first and foremost invest some of that so it will last you some years and you won't be broke like mose lottry winners in a yesr from now,as far as family you help those that helped you when you needed help, because family is funny they there when the money is there and then when it's gone they are gone. think smart about what you need to do for you.

Seriously though, if you won the money, put it someplace safe then enjoy it a little bit at a time.

i could probable placed the money in distinctive financial company money owed and bonds... the 1st component i could do is e book a visit to the North Pole, like an prolonged cruise going to Iceland and Greenland and all those little islands by potential of the Antarctic. Then i could purchase me a house!

Pay off all of your existing debt, then rent (instead of buying) an expensive car. instead of having a job that pays the bills, find a job that you love so you'll look forward to it and it occupies your extra time. Yes, play it cool and keep it to yourself.

Share it with your family but dont let them abuse your win. Buy yourself those things you have only ever dreamed of. Buy a house, a car & some nice things for yourself but dont let it get out of hand. Congratulations.
