Rose in this case is the past tense of Rise. As in the price augmented by 28 cents to $37.62.

Here's another question I would kinds like to hear a Christian answer. Forget taking things out of context. If those words don't mean what they say, then what DO they mean? To me, it says that if you ask for anything in God's name, that he will do it. OK, according to "I'm a nice person" in God's name means God's will. I get it. If you have cancer and in God's name you ask for it to be cured, it really means that if it is God's will that you have your cancer cured then he will do it. If it is not in God's will that your cancer be cured, then he won't. Either way, he answered your prayer. Well, I asked for an answer and I got it. Thanks

I think they mean it went up higher. From 28. cents to $37.62
So it was 28.cents and now is selling for $37.62
That is one big jump! hope this helps!
