Dose the bias interfere with logical and rational thinking?

Many people gain a little incite into what party most caters to them and than simply follows party line. Defending the ones elected in there party to the death regardless of what happens.
Is this loyalty or stupidity?

It is no good at all.

If you get your news from corporately controlled media than you can count on receiving propaganda and a slanted views.

It is so easy to form an opinion based on the beliefs of others. It is so easy to say "I'm a democrat (or republican) because my parents are." But it is also hindering, not only to the development of an individual, but also to society. Growth and maturity can only occur when people are informed of not only what they are most familiar with, but also with what they are least familiar with. Opinions that are formed from slanted points of view hold little credibility because the indiviudal is uninformed of all possible opinions. How will they intelligently be able to defend their beliefs against dissenters?

Though it is so common to take up the values of our role models (or what is spoon fed,) we must fight against that to ensure an informed public.

How does one "choose" "unknowingly?"

Please, before you step out to make grandiose statements, learn to speak/spell/write correctly. It is the number one key to credibility!!!!!! You have just lost any, you may have ever had. What a disgrace. Your attempt to sound educated has failed.
I won't normally point this out, however your post is very "sad." I do not mean to hurt you, but I do wonder how someone finds the courage to spout such strong view points without taking the time to compose a more "proper" post.
I am FAR (very far!!) from perfection myself, I will be the first to admit!! But this would make any teacher cringe. And it concerns me. What has happened here????? Where did the education system go wrong? This is not a simple typo!

Be yourself by believing what is right and not to be swayed by groups with selfish interests such as political parties.
