Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is in Times Square, on 42nd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenue. You can take your picture and visit with John F Kennedy, Janice Joplin, Tiger Woods, Madonna, Buffalo Bill, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Princess Diana, Rachel Ray, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Bill Gates, J Lo, etc. Admission is about $30 and they are open from 10am to 10pm.

There is a Madame Tussuad museum in New York City. While it's not as large and encompassing as the main museum in Paris, France it does indeed exist. Famous now for it's wax figure of Paris Hilton in prison garb.

Yes, it's on 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. It opened several years ago and it is similar to the one in London on Baker Street, if I remember correctly. That whole area of 42nd Street is now a tourist mecca with theme restaurants, Disney stores, and nightclubs like B.B. King's.
