Mix Equal Parts Lemon Juice And STEAM DISTILLED Water And Put This Into A Spray Bottle. Spray This Onto Your Hair And Sit In The Sun Until It Dries Then, Rinse And Shampoo (Condition) Repeat This Every Few Days Until Your Hair Is As Light As You Want. Mixing The Lemon Juice With Conditioner May Lighten Your Hair VERY LITTLE (Or Not At All) The Combo Of Sunlight (Ultra-Violet Rays) And The Juice Produces The Best (And Fastest) Results. Just Watch-Out For Those Red Tones. Good Luck!! (P.S. Steam Distilled Water Avoids Chlorine And Minerals/Metals In Tap Water (Even Filtered) That Can React Badly With The Lemon Juice)

Well the conditioner is the healthier way, but may take a little longer. Just be careful, lightening hair in this method can really bring out the warmer tones in your hair (red, orange, gold). Rather that wrapping just a hot towel around your hair, it would be a little quicker and would benefit from the conditioner if you would put a plastic shower cap or even a plastic bag around your hair, and then use your blow dryer to heat it up a little, then place the hot- towel on your head. Once the towel is cool, then rinse your hair with tepid, or lukewarm to cool water, this will help shut down the hairs' cuticle and lock in the moisture from the conditioner, and add shine. The heat mixed with the acidity will help to lift open the cuticle and help with the lightening process, and help penetrate the hair shaft with the conditioner. Good luck!

I've done the lemon juice alone and it lightened my hair really cute.......the conditioner might prevent your hair from turning lighter so go with the second choice dont use conditioner
also how is a hot towel gonna lighten your hair u need sun's rays to lighten hair.....

Honestly it doesn't really matter as the acidity of the lemon juice combined with heat will lighten your hair. For a third option you can use a blow dryer to speed up the process!

Just a note though...be careful if you have dark hair as it may lighten to the red tones. This can be really pretty as long as it is the look you are expecting!

pouring it into your conditioner and then wrapping it with a towelis probably healthier. whenever you go out in the sun you damage your hair especially when you just sit there for a while.
