a stuffed one. I've never seen cockatoos go for less than 1000 dollars.

Probably a Goffin...they are the smallest species of Cockatoo...but if is hand fed you might be paying extra...look around but find a breeder...it will be cheaper, and the breeder will know alot more about your bird..
I hope you know that having a Cockatoo is like having a two-year-old, that Never grows up..

Honestly a used one that is mean and noone wants... You can't get a Cockatoo for less than a 1000.00 Even a goffins.. Mine was 1000.00 and he was parent raised not hand raised should have been cheaper lol.. But when you fall in love with em..... Good luck

A Galah (pink and grey coloured cockatoo) is probably within that price range. That's in Australia though, bird prices vary dramatically depending on what country you live in.

A really frickin' expensive one.

It depends on where you are. Different things cost different prices on where you are around the world.

I have a Cockatiel, and I bought him in Florida for 90$

But a friend in Texas says they cost 500$ there.

So it all really depends.
