To put it simply - should either the US or Israel with the nod of the US ( they can't do anything unless the US approves and gives the Ok) attack Iran, ALL hell will break lose. It means the beginning ( we are already in the beginning of it) of WW III. The US military is stretched beyond efficiency to effectively invade Iran with ground forces. That is a losing proposition and opens up the gates of hell. The only option is air power...... may be tactical nukes. neutron bombs to put a dent into their nuclear capability..... like the Israelis did with Saddam in the 80s by blowing up his reactor with a few precision bombs dropped from planes.

I don't understand why the West is ever giving more time in that see saw game... for years now... while Iran is just playing games and gaining year after year to complete the bomb. Dumb West!

All for it. I think we should do Iran much differently though. Don't turn the Country into a Muslim Democracy and don't try to roll in your tanks "peacefully". Listen to the commanders on the Ground and our Political leaders better not by Politically Correct sissies.

The US military is stretched way beyond capacity, a full-scale ground invasion of a nation that fought a 10 year war of attrition with it's neighbor would just be ridiculous.

ok.one question here:
which is the terrorists/rogue country?

A) a country who again and again saying that their nuclear is only for peaceful use OR
B) a country who again and again always wants to use FORCE (biggest military spender in the world), already used it against other country and trigger happy soldiers in iraq
C) a small country (built by spilling the blood of the middle eastern natives), has the most advanced weaponry systems in its region, killing has become their best way to train soldiers and lastly admits openly they have over 200 nuclear warheads.

the answer?you choose...

I prefer the Clinton technique of bombing people from the air and not invading.

A single B2 loaded with B61-11s would take care of Iran's nuclear assets quite nicely.

The only goal that would work is to kill the people and steal the oil. They are already a Democratic society.
