Hippies found when they went for months without brushing their hair they had dreadlocks. Dreadful I say.

The Dreadlocks symbolise Black African roots and are part of the Rastavarion Religion and way of life,which has it's roots in Africa,and is now widely favoured by the Jamaican population and others.....Emperor Haily Salassi of Ethiopia was their "Living God"...

Locks have been around since the beginning of time....many tribes have claimed originality but really its a way of life, a journey if you will, I've even heard myths of harnessed inner strength ...me?..my hair grows entirely to fast to be goin to the barber shop every week

People who don't wash their hair. It occurs naturally for Africans and looks terrible on white people.
