Do bars of soap last longer in cold water than in hot water?

So, if I was to take a hot shower, would more of the soap be consumed than a cold show?

well the hot water melts the soap so yea it would last longer in a cold shower :)

Yes it would. The heat makes the compound of the bar of soap disolve more quickly.

The temperature of the water is not a factor. How many times you rub it across your skin or wash cloth is the determining factor.
