There's a guy I have known for over a year. We work for the same company, only in different cities. About a year ago, we began chatting on messenger and our chats almost right away became very sexually charged...him telling me what he wanted to do to me and I to him. We chat anywhere from once every couple of weeks to 1-3 times per week, depending upon our works schedules, etc. I am really attracted to him and he really turns me on. I asked him one night if he meant the things he said; he said if he didn't mean them, he wouldn't say them. He is single and I am single. I guess my question is could he say these very sexual, personal things to me, knowing full well what I look like and what kind of person I am, if he's NOT attracted to me? I could never have these talks with a random stranger or someone I knew who I wasn't attacted to. Also, I am really getting tired of only talking about a hookup, so what would be the best way to approach the subject of a reallife hookup?? Help!

I'm really confused by all this...I've never had discussions like this with any man in my life. How could he have these sexual thoughts about me and tell me such erotic and sexy things, and then not want to act on it in real life? I am totally open for suggestions...

Please tell me how we are breaking all kinds of sexual harrassment laws? We are doing this on our own time, from our own computers, and we don't work together in anyway, just work for the same company???

What you need to do is mention doing this stuff in real life...because he will most likely love that. He will want to. In fact, he has probably already thought of it and asked it on yahoo answers and was told that he should ask you to because he will scare you or creep you out or seem like a perve. lol You see what Im saying? If it is something you want, go for it. But please please please be safe. And have fun! =D Good luck.

And dont be upset if he doesnt want to....act cool and unhurt. It will be okay.

One way to find out how much he means what he says is to offer to go visit him in his city. If he does not jump at the opportunity to want to see you then you may have your answer. But there are many people who can type their feelings but not necessarily act them out. You won't know until you get together with him but if I were you I would make the first move.

Go for it!

Just say something like...So when are we gonna stop just talking about? Or...So what are we gonna do about it?

Seems pretty weird though. You guys are breaking all kinds of sexual harrassment laws, even though it's consensual.

Online does not count. Anyone can say anything online...it has no substance.
