I'm a Florida resident and I applied for a DL renewal, but I need a paper that I don't have - I will not get into details.. so now I show in their data base as a denied DL - until I get that paper. My question is: I need a DL, if I go in Ill and apply for one, is their data base common with Florida's? I don't need that paper in Illinois. Thank you!

illinois don't play.all the states now r hocked up to a system that is nation wide. so if u don't have the paper don't bother waisting time and gas to go. waite until u get the paper.just pick up the phone and call who ever it is and get ur paper and then go.

Not in Illinois.....they're hooked-up to a national data base. They did not pass that bill for illegals being able to drive if that's the paper you're refering to. I can't think of what other paper you wouldn't need since they ask for darn near everything here.
