don't listen to these crazy people - it's just fine - it's like staring at the sun for a long time. I can relate - I do it too. IF it helps you - do it - you may want to talk to your eye doctor and tell him the problem though.

Well if you wear sunglasses in front of a computer screen you probably will not be able to see very well...and there will be no benefit to doing so! If the screen is too bright for your eyes just change the contrast/brightness settings on your computer monitor. If you wear glasses you can get an antireflection coating on your lenses that works great for reducing the glare from computer screen. Wearing sunglasses at the computer won't hurt you or anything but it will not help you very much either. Its not like the screen is emitting UV rays or anything! So if you are bothered by the glare change the settings on your monitor and you can also get an antireflection coating on the lenses of your glasses.

I used to do the same. It is said to reduce on glare. I do know that if you are in front of the computer for a long time it does make your eyes less strained. Don't know how scientific it is though.

I heard its a fantasy that somebody eye's can get broken from the pc (my eye physician advised me as quickly as) yet whilst it DOES harm, i assume why no longer attempt the sunlight colours? :D
