Take it from someone who lost a good amout of weight in a short amout of time...and regrets every second of it. Lose the plastic wrap idea. The only thing you're losing while doing that is water weight and as soon as you drink anything at all, you gain that weight right back. Cutting out soda is a good way to lose some weight, but I can't tell you how fast it'll be. If you crave something sweet, try fruit. There are natural sugars in fruit that might work out for you. The only way to lose weight is to expend more energy (calories) than you consume. There's a long drawn out explanation, but just cut down on your food portions and increase the amout of exercise you do. Stick with it...you'll see results but don't be surprised if they don't come as quickly as what you'd like.

Hun, you're too young to freak out about the weight, but I know where u come from, but here's a tip to loose weight the healthy way, and it wont take alot of time to loose it. First to loose weight, you need to be patient and able to sacrifice. You have to be strong and have a strong will. Stop the sweets, the soda, the fast foods, pizza, chips, all fatning stuff. Eat greens only, no dressing, just some olive oil, no pastas, no bread, no rice. Eat only grilled lean meat, and seafood and grilled fish. Nothing sweet, but i mean nothing at all. No eggs, no more then a cup of milk a day. And you dont have to run, if that is alot, just walk about 5 miles/day. And drink alots of water, no juices and sodas.
Good luck to u hun and just be strong and willing to do it. :)
Trust me hun, you'll loose up to 15 pounds a month, and you'll be very healthy. And at the same time, you'll get use to not to eat all the extra stuff, and you'll learn how to eat healthy, and maintain the weight you reached.

First of all, slow down.

There is so much pressure to lose weight on young girls these days.

You are allowed to eat sweets. But eat them in moderation.
Restricting leads to more craving, then you over eat and then feel guilty.

Be kind to yourself. You can have a few sweets. This ends your craving for them.!!

Rather than think in terms of dieting, just to lose weight, how about changing your focus towards eating as in doing what's right for you.

Moderation in all things. Above all else, there is no need for feeling guilty. (or even guilt for feeling guilty).

A few sweets won't hurt, as long as it's a few sweets.

Relax and enjoy life more.

Who is pushing you to lose weight anyway?

Why not accept yourself as you are?

There really is no safe fast way to lose weight. Just make sure you eat right and exercise regularly. When you balance these two things out right, then you should be on your way.

i used to be the same way. just dont push yourself too hard. stress will also cause weight gain. drink lots of water(to decrease appitite) and try to get plenty of sleep at night. but honestly your still growing. if u be healthy it should just go away naturally. dont use diet pills unless u talk to a doctor. They may sound good but they are not all healthy and when you stop u may gain more weight. also they may not have good side effects. also to get those sexy bodies on these diet pill comercials u have to work out. alot too. ok I hope i helped a little

Start eating more fruits and vegies. I know it's hard. But 165 lbs for a 15 year old.. (I'm guessing female) is a lot. Get it down to 125-130. Good luck.

If exercise isnt working, try diet pills. My friend did that for a while and lost a lot of weight. When she lost the wieght she stopped taking the pills and kept in shape by exercising and eating right.
