If any guy asks you for your number its a hint that he is, at the very least, somewhat interested in you. There isnt enough detail to go further into it though. I assume you guys went to the park together. Which is a start. If he genuinely likes you he'd ask you on another date or may be waiting so he doesnt come off too desperate. On the other hand he may have noticed that he's not that interested and he wanted to leave the date on a good note by being kind. Once again, I'm not working with enough information, so this is purely speculation. Good luck.

Seems to be slightly flirting with you, but doesn't want to push it, because you may be freaked out. Since he asked for your number, wait for him to contact you, it shows that he has a good amount of interest in you; he'll probably want to hang out with you again, and that's a good signal he likes you maybe more than just a friend.
