frankly I have no idea. it is a phenomenon that is totally unexplainable. there seems to be a fascination on both sides.

there is a section in the forum under the heading of atheists and they want some answers to questions about evolution and how certain things can be known. the body may be evolved but the spirit and attitude of man needs some work this is where spirituality comes in. spirituality is the key not necessarily religion as they well know there is a difference. athiests ask questions as they have similiar ideas but it is not seen what both have in common as there is too much effort epended on whether or not God is real and not enough on asking if their feelings towards other humans are genuine and to use the terminology Human and make it stick so then once all labels are removed it will be humans asking questions.

I think people generally love to debate with the "opposition", no matter what the issue is. There is no reason for certain people to harrass others, as I have seen from time to time, but there IS a huge reason to respect each other, learn about each other's beliefs, and just plain have a fun time debating!

It happens in all forums. Check out illegals vs legals... check out just about any topic and it's exactly the same.

Because there is no forum for atheists. Religion and Spirituality is probably as close as it gets. Plus, don't you think asking questions about people who don't believe in God is related to religion and spirituality? They are the opposing group, so why not ask questions about them?

HA HA HA! Now it relatively is precisely what I expected somebody to ask after that final question... i'm an approved one thousand% atheist so i think i won't be able to answer for Christians or their mythological understandings...

They don't come here for that, but when they get here they see some of the questions and answers some of you have and it gives them questions to ask you. When I first came on here I came so that i could find answers that maybe I did not know the answer to and to answer some that maybe I did know the answer to, about religion and spirituality. I did not come in here to be called names and to be ridiculed.

So they can try to find their weaknesses and convert with by reciting random_*** parts of their bible. Thats the only reason why they ask questoins about anyone. So they can learn the ways of their enemy and digure out a better way to combat them in verbal arguements. or maybe its just because they dont know anything else but their crazy little book, and maybe they will find a different religion that wont try to send them to eternal damnation after death and total stupidity durring life.

Hail Satan

I guess for the same reason that atheists come here to ask questions about Christians.

They seem to be fascinated by Atheists. I think they want to "save" them, but at the same time, they like the reality aspect of atheism. It's sort of like going to a hockey game. You like to watch it because it's fast and violent, but the last thing you want to do is get out there and play it.

Atheists are the hockey players for the Christians.

Envy...isnt that a sin...yeah well you know how they change the rules all the time. On Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday Envy is ok. Not on Tuesdays though cause they have to watch House MD cause he is a sexy atheist doctor on TV and so they are not envious of him...they just lust over him.
Sundays they are in church repenting the sins of the week and I am sure that takes a while.
