hardly amusing...but about my bio, i expect people to know the meaning of masticate veresus master.bate, cunning linguistics versus cun.inlingst, and be creative enought to realize "non-fella.tious content" means "things that don't suck."
and yes, i do realize that most guys want "some" in exchange for a 10$ drink...but i was HOPING to get better examples of "expectations" from this survey (instead of writing guys all off as dogs looking for a bone).

when offereing to buy a drink??? That depends on the guy!
For me is means i think you are attractive and would like to know more about you and the drink might open a conversation so that we could see if we have any common ground.
Just a way to start a conversation and see what happens.

I'm not a guy, but I think they are basically buying her attention. If he buys her a drink, she pretty much has to talk to him for as long as she is drinking the drink he bought her. She can't very well accept a drink from him and then take off and start talking to some other guy. That would just be way rude.

Everyone expect and think differently, it really depends with the guy. For some, it could mean for them to have a conversation, to get your attention, to get your contact number, some needs a friend to talk to for the time being, and mostly to go for more....and you know what i mean.

It all depends. Usually just a courtesy. If I am talking to someone and I order, it is common to ask if they would like something. Guy or girl, it doesn't matter. It is not about sex.
Sometimes it is an ice breaker if you see someone you are attracted to. It is always easier to talk to someone when you come bearing gifts.

if you're unable to figure this out, you're on your own lol. plus, women tend to be vague and indirect at times so don't be suprised if some guy thinks you're attracted and tries to get you a drink in hopes of encouraging a relationship of sorts. but in my opinion, the whole drink thing is a waste lol.
