I currently live in Miami,FL and own a 350z touring edition with BF goodrich g force all traction tires. Is it worth to take this car to Cinci? I've heard RWD in snow is not so good. But, I really don't know how often, and bad, it snows in Cinci on the regular. Anyone have any insight?
THANKS-cheers!

OK, first you are correct, it wont do well in snow. But that being said, there are plenty of people in Cincy that have 350Z's, and there are plenty of those same people that drive them year round. I used to have a Mustang which is also rear wheel, and whips the 350 pretty soundly in horsepower, and I had to be careful in the snow, but I could manage 99% of the time. Cincy will generally have 4-5 bad driving days per year. I think you'll be OK. The first time it snows, head to a parking lot thats close by, and practice driving you car in the snow. Apply the brakes some and get the car to skid a little, so that you know how to steer out of it. With a little practice, and by just not driving on the really bad days, you'll do just fine.

Even with the very best snow tires the 350Z would be a hand full. When you finally make it to work you would be worn out steering into the slide touch the throttle and spin off of the road. But that is only 4 or 5 months the rest of the time pot holes poor road maintence will beat up your sports car. Most Ohio driver buy a 1995 ford taurus rust bucket WINTER CAR. Don't rust out your Z keep it garaged 5 months. Get ready there is white stuff colder than you ever imagened up there.

Does not snow that much in Cincy. Though it depend on where you plan to work and live. Parts of Cincy are very hilly and porely plowed so it could be a problem but only a few days a year.
