capillaries are vessels located all throughout your body, and are used for the interchanging of oxygen to carbon dioxide and all that other stuff. so logically, you have quite a few of these in your nose. the most common causes of a bloody nose is probably when your nose is dry and a capillary pops. but there are a bunch of other things that can cause a nose bleed.

i live in Las Vegas. A lot of people get nosebleeds while they're here. i suppose it's the dryness of the desert. Also. I was taking "Nasonex" for sinus problems. After a couple months of using it every day, i started to get a bloody nose and sore throat. The pharmacist said it was the Nasonex and to quit it for a while.

Maybe your blood pressure is high. I have a perforated septum & that makes my nose bleed.
