1. depends on the pain, is it real or do you want to get high
2. Should only be used for serious pain like the wisdom teeth removal episode.
3. they should be flushed as if you need them again the doc will prescribe for you
4. these kind of drugs can be addictive and also help you not face reality

As long as its not expired yet, yes, however, what kind of pain are u having at this time, if its mild pain, consider taking acetaminophen instead of the vicodin, you dont want tolerance to those type of medications.

As long as it's the normal dose I would assume so. If you are regularly tested for drugs, including prescription drugs, it might not be a good idea if the prescription has expired.
