DNA - DNA molecules are basically information programs for living beings. We have no problem with them, but evolutionists do. You see, information cannot come from matter or energy, but only from a greater source of information. We believe that greater source to be God, what do you think the greater source is?

Australopithecus - Not our ancestors, just extinct apes.
"Australopithecus, the genus of the infamous “Lucy” specimen, is one of the most cited examples of a missing link in human evolution. The problem is that australopithecine features are all apelike, despite the claim that they walked upright. Many depictions actually show human hands and feet when the evidence clearly indicates curved, apelike features.

The fact that tools are found with some australopithecine fossils and that human fossils are found in strata directly underneath suggests that the tools may have been used on the apes, not by them. The extinct ape fossils may share characteristics with modern humans, but so do living apes. No evidence from the fossil record directly supports a transitional series from ape to human. Virtually every major discovery is later reinterpreted to fit a new version of evolution. People have always been people and apes have always been apes. Each was created according to the purpose and plan of God."(1)

Carbon Dating - Again, not a problem. Carbon 14 is found only in living or once living things. Carbon Dating does not date in long years, only in the thousands of years. If you were aware of the RATE project, you would know they found Carbon 14 in diamonds, which were supposed to be millions of years old. Interesting, huh?

I have yet to have heard a Creationist deny the existance of DNA, the fragments that make up "Lucy" or call carbon dating "of the devil." But they do address those issues directly and scientifically. Here are some links that might help answer your question about what Creation Science Textbooks really do teach.

Note: do not take this as my endorsement of the sites linked or Creation science.

God designed it, complete with errors, and things that might look like indications of evolution if you did not know that God Did It.

It is just an ape, or a diseased ape, or a diseased human, or something else - don't ask again.

The thousands of scientists that use this are all wrong, because of, the nuclear bombs (compensated for) the different rate of C14 production (it's flat) the fact that cating shellfish does not work (for known reasons - good scientist do not do this), because it contradicts the biblical dates and so must be wrong.

All together now, close your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and shout as loud as you can: God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It! God Did It!

I'd suspect the'd just call australopithecus weird apes, and I know they have some claims based on some exceptional cases in which they claim carbon dating to be inaccurate...

Denial. And there's a branch of Christians called Christian apologists. These guys are taught tricks and other deception tactics to defend Christianity from science. An appropriate analogy is that they are being taught how to dig holes in the sand in which to put their heads and they are being taught how to teach others to do the same. Ignorance begets ignorance.

Ignoring, mostly, but sometimes they take a different approach.

For example, I've heard more than one creationist claim that the existence of DNA actually REFUTES evolution! HOW someone could come to such a silly conclusion is beyond me.

People who promote church science claim that Satan inserted a lot of fake evidence. But church people are not fooled by Satan's wiles.

Anything they disagree with, Satan has a hand in it. They got all their bases covered.

Mankind used to believe the earth was flat, whereas the bible has always said that it is round and contrary to another popular belief, NOT on the back of a sea turtle

"He is hanging the circle of the earth upon nothing" - Job

It says these things are all false, and are just made up by scientists just to discredit the Bible and the story of creation, and by implication, to attack Christianity (never mind that many scientists are Christians). Anything that contradicts their beliefs is obviously false, sinister, and very possibly inspired by Satan.
