No thought provoking query here just a way to waste some points. Atheist I think it is time we started knocking on doors and handing out pamplets about the non existence of the Invisible Friend. Some of us need to stand on the street corner and shout there isn't a God. Some need to take public transportation. Some of us should be so brazen and stand outside of their houses of worship. Well, are you with me or not?

People take a deep breath and realize it was a joke, moreover, a way to vent. I am a tad tired of the biblethumpers telling me I am going to a place I don't believe in.

Well, I think you have every right to your opinion or cause. I don't have time to stand outside churches, but I do think Atheists have a point to make. I am not one of them, but believe you have the right to form a group.

It is certainly questionable whether there is a God or not and many Christians ask themselves this very question (though they won't admit it). The proof is not here. Christians believe God talks to them in their mind, but no one I have ever known has actually heard his voice. According to the Bible which is only a manuscript written by man, only a few have declared hearing him verbally. Those being Adam and Eve, Noah and Moses. Few people to prove a point.

I admit it is a story that is fantastical and only faith decides what one thinks.

Okay...sounds like a plan, i'll laugh at you when i go to church, it will help me remember why i feel i have a purpose in life besides trying to tell people they are wrong all the time.

If God is not real than that is just it, he is not. At least i only wasted a little bit of time in my life going to church and saying a prayer at night, and not trying to convince people of my ideas. And if he is real i will say a prayer for those souls who do not believe so that they may someday find the peace of something so great.

God bless : )

I am sooooo with you!!! That's too funny, and true..... i am so sick of people telling me how great my life would be if i accept Jesus as my savior and give myself to him blah, blah, blah. We should tell them all about how great it would be if we would all take responsibility for what is going on in the world and try to change it instead of yappin about how he is coming to save them and the ones who dont believe are going straight to hell. I am happy with who and what i am and i am certainly NOT going to teach my kids to be good people just cuz if they are bad they are going to hell, how about be a good person because you want to be a good person without some crazy threat about Jesus or god comin to get 'cha?!?!?

I'm no atheist but I liked you response about not passing stuff out and shouting on corners. Now you want to change your position. Why? If you're happy without beliefs, why do you spend so much time discussing it? If you're so enlightened, shouldn't you have better things to do? Atheism is beginning to sound like a religion.

yeah i know what you mean..
on sundays, when i turn my tv on, i pass so many channels where its church people trying to sell bibles and talk about how god is soo greatt. How come atheists cant have a tv show talking about how god isnt real? And there are so many movies out there that have to do with jesus and all that, yet i never see any movies that talk about how god isnt real.
i hate it.

Why waste time trying to prove something you don't believe.

If that is the case, can't you put your energy to better use than disallowing the beliefs of others?

People should be allowed to believe in what ever manner they wish as long as it does not harm others.

Good luck, Atheist Friends!

I will be there with cookies when your all and the Fred Phelps group cross paths. I will also be the one selling tickets to the main event.

Money to be made? That can fund the Vacation Atheist School trip to the Creation Museum.
