I was wondering how often I would be able to play the guitar in the marines if i join? Is there any possibility that ill have enough time to play with my band in the corps if im active duty?

yup, but it depends on your duty station.. when i was staioned out on oki/camp foster.. most of the bands were Marines that played out in town on weekends..
my hobby was martial arts out there, and i found time for that, so you'll have time for stuff..

lilbitt:cool :) i miss oki..especially sunset beach!! and drinking on gate2 street.. 2002-2003.

Yes. You will still have time to play. When you get out of boot camp you will have plenty of time to yourself at your first duty station. Now playing with your band part. If your band moves with you then yes. But you will be able to find other bands while you are stationed at each duty station!
