A therapist once told me that depression is anger turned inside out. If you're depressed you have to start letting out your feelings. It seems your aunt may be a good place to start. Tell her in no uncertain terms that she's bugging the crap out of you by telling you you're getting better. Open up to her and tell her exactly how you feel. She may be offended but, depending on your relationship with her, you can put it in a way that wouldn't necessarily be offensive.
The point is you have to start talking about whatever it is that you're depressed about. You have to start letting out your feelings so you can start to get better. Writing is a good way to release the steam valve. Just write everything that's going on in your head. Allow yourself to feel all the emotions you're keeping inside. Keep doing this on a regular basis and eventually you will start to feel better.
Your aunt may actually be trying to help in her own way. It may be the only way she knows how. So help her help you and maybe you'll be able to move forward.

She may think you are getting better if you act like it around her, or maybe she notices the things you dont see. Tell her you dont feel like youre getting any better, and it bothers you that she keeps saying that. If she wont stop, quit talking to her and maybe she'll get the message. its a little childish, but it works sometimes, some ppl need to be treated like children to see what we want them to see. If you recently started medication, it is possible that others see what you dont. it took me a long time to see that i was doing better though my family said they saw it months b4 i saw an improvement.

get a yellow chalk, draw a line across the floor, you stay on 1 side & hope she stay on her side, this is what people need to do all the time when things aren't going right. may sound funny but it helps and its the dog gone truth. i know a married couple who does this everytime it calls for such, ha.''

Ignore her and accept her for what she is.It took the LORD to help me get over my depression. You have to get some self esteem, change your way of thinking and your actions before your feelings will ever change.

You can either ignore her, or try explaining it to her. If it's easier, write it down and give it to her.
