ignore your weight, look in the mirror.
introducing the only way to lose weight and keep it lost.
figure a reasonably healthy a diet that you can sustain for the rest of your life - talk to a dietician. if you can't do it long term its only going to be a quick fix. ideally you want to minimise processed foods- that means maximise raw uncooked options - a 60/40 split is ideal but most ppl can't do that - myself included. raw fruit and vegies and mostly low GI grains and cereals
second is pick an exercise you like - cycling, running, swimming or gym circuit. develop muscles with these exercises - this type of development doesn't increase muscle bulk, it focuses more on muscle tone.
muscles are what improves shape AND burn fat - because they do so when you aren't using them. this may increase your weight but muscle is heavier than fat - but it looks a hell of a lot better.
anything that take 2 months to build can be kicked over very easily. go for long term - you will see results in 2 months but prolly not 50 pounds worth.
best of luck!

That's ridiculous. The most you can lose in 2 months is 8-15 pounds. It's not realistic. Weight loss is connected to good health, which takes some time. My goal is to lose 30 pounds of fat in seven months. Concentrate on what is healthy for you instead of losing weight, and you will indeed end up losing weight. If you DO lose 50 pounds in 2 months, it would be very unhealthy and it will all come back, with extra.

To lose 50 pounds in two months is not healthy and not realistic. A good weight loss goal is 1-2 pounds per week. Combine a healthy diet with exercise and you will see your body firm up and slim down and even though you still won't be at what you feel is a good number for you, you will notice the difference and you will feel better about yourself.

How tall are you? What difference does it make what everyone else weighs? There is no way you can loose 50 pounds in two months safely. Start by drinking water instead of pop/soda and watch your carbs. 15g=1 carb. You should have 2-3 carbs per meal. If you do that and get active you will loose weight safely and forever. Good luck

Do you happen to be taller than "everyone" else you know? There is no safe way to lose 50 lbs in two months. Quit worrying about your weight. Just enjoy life.....it is too short!

Ok, next question - how tall are you compared to "everyone" else? What's your bone structure compared to their bone structure? My point is...you need to weigh what's healthy for you, not what's good for everyone else. One site that you might find interesting is www.kimkin.com. I've checked them out recently and some of what I read impressed me. Good luck.
