Follow the Christ!" is the theme of next weekend's annual Jehovah's Witness District Convention .

More than 7,500 Jehovah's Witnesses from Utah, Southeast Idaho and Western Wyoming are expected to attend the three-day English event, which begins Friday, June 29, and continues through Sunday, July 1.
Some 5,000 Spanish-speaking Witnesses are expected to converge at the Dee Events Center a week later. Both meetings will have identical themes and organization. Only the language and speakers will change.
The two conventions are among more than 282 similar conventions to be held in the United States this year.
All meetings are free and open to the public. No collections will be taken.

Well if the Watchtower is telling you to Follow the Christ... then surely they are also telling you that you ALL have heavenly hope as

Romans 8:19 "....Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

And from my understanding you have not the Spirit unless you are among the 144k annointed ones.

Think about it. You are not in the truth.

Yes. Two have already mentioned me on here lol. Sunshine and Andre. Both occasions were amazing, (hi back Rosa lol):D I warned Sunshine that I will go red with shyness and she kindly pointed out that indeed I could not have been more right (thanks a bunch sis):DDD She also found me to be more "free spirited" a kind way of saying: flighty lol me thinks. When I am on here, I am completely at ease and of course have time to formulate my words, which means I tend to come across as different to when ones see me in "real life". But once I get to know someone, I can relax and "they ain't seen anything yet" lol With Andre and his wife, Dee it took the very last day to find them hehehehe and the sister I was sitting next to was the one who said they were on the same coach as her and hubby and I had been spending all that time, asking around lol. Dee came up behind me and whispered: Hi Suzanne and I stupidly started to cry and lol so did hubby and a couple of others!!! I also met my spiritual son for the first time. He was born in America to French father and American mum and now lives in France and so got to meet him. We have been chatting online for about 2 or more years. It was surreal to say the least. Lol I know I did not put him off since he got in touch recently again!! I must admit it is both wonderful to meet ones from here, but also very scary!

Jehovah's Witnesses have arranged for literally THOUSANDS of conventions worldwide presenting the 2007-2008 theme "Follow the Christ". Hundreds of conventions will be held across the United States:
http://jw-media.org/region/americas/usa/english/releases/events/usa_e070531a.htm

During 2006, more than 2.3 million attended Jehovah's Witness conventions in the United States, meaning that active Jehovah's Witnesses made up less than half of that attendance. The entire 2007 "Follow the Christ" program clearly admonishes its audience to follow Jesus Christ.

Last weekend there were over 7,500 on Sunday at the comvention in Cypress, TX. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend although ours is in Moblie, Al in August. It's torture not telling the friends in our congregation about it!

grnlow, so sorry you are too sick to attend! Can't wait til the time when none of us will say 'I am sick'

Sweet dreams everyone.

This convention really puts to shame everyone who says that Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in Jesus, or believe in him improperly.

Jehovah's Witnesses, you say? Aren't they the ones
who are always predicting (and re-predicting) when
the world will come to an end?
I saw a tabloid in a store this morning that said they
now think the world will come to an end this year, on
September 11th.
How interesting. (Yawn.)
May peace be with you, pal.

Yet they deny that Jesus is God.

Very sad.

Do you believe Jesus will attend?

After all you guys believe He returned in 1914.
