I'll be honest, I don't know what it means.
I can give you my humble opinion on what it means, which may be a right or wrong opinion. I think it means to seek Him out, to learn who He really is. I mean if you think about it, face recognition is one of the most important things to human beings. I don't know how many times i've heard people say (or have said myself) that I may not remember someone's name, but I never forget a face. And if I remember someone's face, most likely i'm going to remember the defining personality and moral characteristics that make that person who they are. We can't physically see G-d's face, but by studying scripture and by praying we can seek to know who G-d really is, and what He wants for us in our lives.
That's what I think seeking His face means.

Hello and a person any person tends to travel in the direction they are looking and IF we seek God's face and keep Him in first place then we won't be lead astray by what ever or who ever we are looking at, if you or i have a husband, wife, kid as more important then you won't be able to seek God's face cause you have something more important, to seek Gods face is to hold Him as the most important, after all Jesus is The Only escape route we have and keeping your attention without anyone or anything getting in the way is that not what seek my face means, God bless?

In the Bible - We use the KJV Bible. I believe that we are not 'just' to seek His face but the ways of the Lord! - Yes, I study and Pray to seek His face!

Sounds like words of comfort to me. In other words, God need not have features to affect others - to "seek his face" is much the same as seeking his spirit. God wants us to seek his face. Jesus died on the cross to seek ours, after all. This coming from an atheist, mind you.
Or, it's when you put your mouth on God's cheek and suck in sharply before releasing with a loud "MWAH!" He loves it. A priest can teach you more about seeking elsewhere.

God is a spirit and has no face. Maybe he means seek redemption through his son, Jesus, who was made in the likeness of human beings - face and all.

It means seek his presence. Come to him in faith and allow him to show you his presence in wonderful wonderful ways. We are unable to see his face or see him physically, but we are able to see that he is right beside us and that he can be trusted as we go through life with all its peaks and valleys.
